Designed for professional executives and managers, the University of Alberta, in cooperation with the University of Calgary, offers the Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA), a 2-year, part-time program whose primary goal is to expose students 'to the latest management theories and research' in an effort to equip them with the administrative, entrepreneurial, and leadership skills, and global consciousness and perspectives needed to meet the modern 'demands of executive management.' The Program, which consists of core courses, electives, and a Major Project Course, holds its classes on Fridays and Saturdays with the exception of 'one-week courses at the beginning of each of the first three semesters' and a '10-day International Study Tour in May.' Additionally, except for the Managing the Business/Government Interface courses, which will be delivered at the School of Business at the University of Alberta, all classes will be held at Scurfield Hall at the University of Calgary. |
