Malaspina University College, in partnership with the University of Hertfordshire of London, England, offers a general International Master of Business Administration (IMBA) degree, a 12-month program designed for qualified individuals who possess a Bachelor degree in Business. At Malaspina University College, students will be subject to 'small classes, close interaction with faculty, and flexible learning modules' whose aim is to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to further their respective careers 'in today's competitive world of business.' The Program consists of both classes and a 12-month, 12,000 to 15,000 word thesis project completed 'under the guidance of an approved supervisor.' The final semester of the Program will hold no classes but rather will be entirely devoted to the thesis. Upon successful completion of the IMBA degree, international students will be 'eligible to work in Canada for one year.' Although students will complete the entire program at the University College, the University of Hertfordshire will award the IMBA degree. |
