McGill University's Desautels Faculty of Management offers its Master of Business Administration program in Japan at Sophia University of Tokyo. The Program is 2 years in duration whose classes are held on the weekends to enable students to maintain full-time employment while learning. Students will be exposed to a broad core of management knowledge and skills required 'to effectively manage and lead internationally diverse and globally dispersed firms' and will 'build upon work experience, to enable the student to make the transition to a higher level of responsibility.' Students will also be able to specialize in 1 of 3 areas including Finance, General Management, and International Business. Individuals enrolled in the Program are provided with the opportunities to transfer 'to the McGill campus in Montreal for the 2nd year of study' and/or study in China for 2 weeks in June as a means to explore the Chinese business environment and the emerging markets therein, with 1 week being spent in Beijing and the other in Shanghai. |
