The University of Victoria offers the Master of Business Administration in International Business and Management program whose primary goal is to graduate students with the broad-based and cross-functional strategic approach to business decision-making which is required to resolve complex business issues. The Program will expose participants to a broad understanding of the key functional areas of business and their interdependence while enabling them to specialize in International Business and Management providing them with a 'deeper understanding of doing business in a global context.' Each student will be required to partake in a practicum in which he/she will work for an international company 'on International Business related projects.' Canadian students will complete this requirement oversees while international students may complete it 'either in Canada or abroad, but not in their home country.' The Program may be completed in 17 months on a full-time basis or within 3 years on a part-time schedule. |
