MBA schools have either a fixed application deadline and/or process applications on a rolling basis. The former means that applications will not be accepted following the deadline for the start date to which the deadline applies. Some schools will have different deadlines for different categories of students; for example, international students or those requiring Financial Assistance may be required to submit their respective applications earlier than other applicants. Schools who accept applications on a "rolling basis" will take applications anytime and process them until all of a program's allotted spaces for a specific start date have been filled. Some Schools combine established deadlines with rolling basis. In these cases, the school will accept and process applications up to a set deadline; if, once all applications have been processed, a program has open spaces left, the school will accept applications until such spaces have been filled or the start date for the program has passed. The following is a list of application deadlines for Canadian MBA schools listed in alphabetical order by school:

| Dalhousie University | June 1st for Canadian residents, January 31st for China PR applicants, and April 1st for international students. |
| DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University | May 26th is the deadline to submit applications for the Fall semester for the Full-time, Part-time, and Co-op MBA programs. Applications for admittance to the Winter semester's Part-time MBA program is October 1st. |

| Haskayne School of Business at University of Calgary | Application deadlines are November 15, January 15, March 1, and May 1. For international (visa) applicants, the deadline is March 1st. |
