The DeGroote School of Business of McMaster University offers a 2-year Master of Business Administration program which will expose students to the fundamental business concepts, knowledge, and skills required to succeed in one's academic and professional endeavours while enabling them to choose a general course of knowledge or specialize in 1 of over 9 areas including Accounting and Financial Management Services, eBusiness, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Human Resources and Management, International Business, Knowledge Management, Management of Innovation and New Technology, Operations Management and Strategic Marketing. The School champions the virtues of the Co-operative model of learning and as such its MBA program has a mandatory internship component whose goal is to allow students both 'a firsthand look at the challenges facing today's business owners and executives' and 'an opportunity to prove' oneself 'to potential employers' while still attending school.
