Ryerson University's Faculty of Business offers the Master of Business Administration, a full-time, 12-month program providing 'academic, practical and research-based collaboration between industry, students and faculty' with the goal of creating graduates 'with a global orientation and the ability to integrate and apply knowledge and skills in industry.' Students are afforded the opportunity to specialize in 1 of 4 areas of study including International Business, Human Resources Management, Marketing, and Retail Commercial Development; in order to demonstrate their ability to 'apply and integrate what they have learned through their course work,' students in the final semester of the Program will have the option of choosing 'from among a thesis, industry placement, international exchange or intensive language training' which will require the student to apply theory into practice. The Program maintains small classes in order to ensure greater interaction between students and student and faculty in an effort to create 'a dynamic interactive learning environment.'
