Is it intrinsically related to the idea of war, or at least to the absence of conflict? What exactly does peace mean to you, your parents, or your neighbors, as opposed to someone from Tehran or Kigali? Is it seen in the same way in the United States, China or Africa? These are some of the questions that will be addressed during an international, multidisciplinary conference called Peace- Aesthetics of an Ethic that will take place this coming April 27-28, 2006 in room H-767 of the Henry H. Hall Building (1455 de Maisonneuve Blvd. W.)
