The conference, Forensic Identification: Forensic Science – "Common Heritages, Shared Future?" will draw some of Canada’s top experts in the field, including members of the country’s Phuket Tsunami and World Trade Center identification teams. Highlights of the conference, which runs through Friday, include sessions on wound ballistics and bullet-impact damage, the use of insects in forensic investigations, and the drawing of DNA samples from skeletal remains.
