Throughout Orientation Week, which will be taking place from Monday, Sept. 4, to Saturday, Sept. 9, campus and community partners such as the Brock University Students' Union (BUSU), Brock Off- Campus (BOC), Community Connections and Student Services will be organizing several events and programs on campus and in various locations in St. Catharines, Ont. www.brocku.ca/orientation The following are some of the events planned for 2006 Orientation Week at Brock: Academic Orientation (Wednesday, Sept. 6, 11 a.m. - 12 p.m., and 2 - 3 p.m.) An opportunity for students to meet professors and classmates in their respective faculties and majors. Concert (Wednesday, Sept. 6, 7:30 - 11:00 p.m.) A back to school show for Brock students! Dessert Party (Thursday, Sept. 7, 9 p.m. - 12 midnight) Various delectable sweets and tasty treats as featured by a number of local pastry chefs and restaurants! Barbecue at Port Dalhousie for International Students (Friday, Sept. 8, 2 - 4 p.m.) Sports, music, and great food - all in the splendor of scenic Port Dalhousie! BUSU's Shinerama Shine Day (Saturday, Sept. 9, 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.) A chance for students to volunteer around the Niagara Region to raise money to help fight Cystic Fibrosis through Shinerama. All volunteers will receive a free breakfast and lunch, and enjoy a day full of activities.
