Addition of ACC Business Administration diploma means Campus Manitoba Consortium now operating with all partners -

BRANDON, MB - On Wednesday, March 1st, Assiniboine Community College will make their Business Administration Diploma—Accounting Specialization available to students through Campus Manitoba. This is a major step in that all of the Campus Manitoba Consortium partners will now have programs and/or courses available through Campus Manitoba. Campus Manitoba would like to invite you to help celebrate this event, by being part of the official updating of the Campus Manitoba portal. Dr. Louis Visentin (President, Brandon University) and Brent Mills (President, Assiniboine Community College) will shutdown the old portal and turn on the new one at 11:00 am on March 1st in the Ceremony Room of the Health Studies Building (Room 141).

About Campus Manitoba:

Campus Manitoba is a consortium of Manitoba’s public post-secondary institutions. It serves as a conduit to provide access to college and university courses and programs for Manitobans through distributed learning mechanisms including the Internet. Campus Manitoba supports students by providing services that remove barriers and enable the achievement of educational goals.

The Campus Manitoba Consortium has its administrative headquarters at Brandon University.

Campus Manitoba is fully funded by the Provincial Government and is one of the primary means of delivering post-secondary programs to rural and remote students in Manitoba.

Campus Manitoba has 1200+ course registrations per year in post-secondary courses and this number is growing.

Campus Manitoba courses are delivered by a unique combination of Internet technologies.

Students are treated like regular on-campus students with the privilege of taking courses from all of the partner institutions.

The Campus Manitoba Consortium partners are University of Winnipeg, University of Manitoba, Brandon University, Collège universitaire de Saint-Boniface, University College of the North, Assiniboine Community College, and Red River College.

More than 350 individual courses are available to Campus Manitoba students.

Campus Manitoba Centres are located in: Altona, Boissevain, Brandon, Carman, Crosslake, Dauphin, Deloraine, Eriksdale, Flin Flon, Killarney, Pine Falls, Swan River, Southport, Steinbach, The Pas, Thompson.
