SMU's library is cool!
November 6, 2006
The Patrick Power Library at Saint Mary’s was named by the Coast Magazine as the second best place to study in all of Halifax.
In its 2006 City Life issue that just hit news stands, the widely read magazine touts that the University’s Library is one of the coolest spots for students to hit the books and excel in academia.
"I am very pleased we were mentioned and I see it as a tribute to all our hard work to make the library a congenial space for students," says Madeleine Lefebvre, who is the University Librarian.
