Trinity Western University's new president to appear on Omni TV's The Standard, Thursday October 12, 2006 at 9:00pm PST.

Viewers are
exposed to riveting stories from around the world, meeting newsmakers up
close, and discovering the spiritual sides of famous men and women from all
walks of life. Hosted by veteran journalist Andrew Dawson, with field
interviews conducted by Laura-Lynn Tyler, recent guests have included author
Salman Rushdie, pop superstar Clay Aiken, film director Deepa Mehta, and the
Dalai Lama's advisor Tendzin Choegyal.

Dr. Raymond will be discussing TWU, his new position as president, and
Christian higher education in general. Raymond first took office at TWU on
July 1, 2006 and will be officially inaugurated on October 14, 2006 at a
formal ceremony honoring his new leadership.

The interview on The Standard will premiere in Vancouver and Victoria on
Thursday October 12, 2006 at 9:00pm PST on Omni 10 and Cable 7 respectively,
with repeat broadcasts on Friday October 13, 2006 at 8:00am and 10:30am. The
program will also air in Winnipeg on Friday at 9:00pm PST on Omni 11.
