Guest Speaker: John Dexhage, International Negotiations on Climate Change: Montreal and the Post-2012 Agenda

The Institute of the Environment of the University of Ottawa presents the speaker series Looking and Planning beyond Kyoto. John Dexhage, director of Climate Change, International Institute for Sustainable Development will discuss international negotiations on climate change: Montreal and the post-2012 agenda.

Ms. Rita Karakas, CEO of Save the Children Canada will give a lecture entitled A Call for Canadian Leadership in Hong Kong: Needed Corrective Action in the Global Agricultural Commodities Trade, for the Hyman Soloway Chair in Business and Trade Law Annual Conference.

The Right to Food at the Nexus of Trade and Technology

This conference, organized by the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Law, is intended to further dialogue amongst academics, policy-makers and activists engaged in issues related to food security. The discussions will focus on the intersections between human rights, international trade and intellectual property law.
