us on Thursday, October 26 at 2:00 p.m. for the official opening of Brandon
University's new, state-of-the-art Convergys Learning Centre! Located in the
John E. Robbins library on the BU campus, this new space brings together
librarians and technical support, digital resources such as productivity
software, electronic journals and databases, print resources, and the latest
in technology with the goal of assisting BU students in becoming information
literate. The Convergys Learning Centre was made possible through generous
donations from Convergys, who contributed the funds necessary for renovating
the room, MBNA Canada, who contributed to purchasing computer stations, and
Staples, who donated a printer. Reception, with light refreshments, is at 2:00 p.m. and an official program
will begin at 2:15, followed by a ribbon cutting and a demonstration of the
