Nipissing students cleaning up trails

North Bay, ON,
October 19, 2006— Three Nipissing University student clubs are joining
forces to clean up litter in the Education Center Trails Network. The
Biology Society, the Outdoors Society and the Environmental Action Committee
are spearheading the hike and clean-up on October 21.

The hike begins at 1:00 p.m. by the pond behind the Education Center.
Clean-up bags will be provided.

While the three clubs will be competing to pick up the most garbage by
weight, the hike is open to the public and everyone is encouraged to
participate.

Following the hike, participants are invited to a campfire at the trail
entrance to enjoy some snacks.
