Marilyn passed away at home on Friday, October 6, 2006, following a lengthy illness. An invitation is extended to all members of the Laurier community, and the community-at-large, to join Marilyn's family and friends to remember her life and to recognize her achievements. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Marilyn Jacobs Award through the Office of University Development, Wilfrid Laurier University, 75 University Avenue West, Waterloo, Ontario N2L 3C5.
