While organizers hope no riots will take place this year, there are numerous events to take in which show off Lethbridge's colourful past and how it links to the present and the future. Hosted by several community organizations with an interest in promoting history, Historic Lethbridge Week has something for everyone -- kids, literature lovers, foodies, and movie, art and culture aficionados. Among the many new activities is an old fashioned harvest supper, which takes place on Thursday, September 21 at the new Galt Museum and Archives. The hugely popular Taste of Downtown returns with new restaurants and entertainment options. Complete information is outlined below. Admission is free unless otherwise noted. Doors Open Lethbridge takes place Friday, September 22 and Saturday, September 23. Twelve locations in the city are open for visitors to explore. Some are new, some are old, some are always 'open,' and all have interesting stories to tell.
