Formerly the newsletter was available in print via the Educational Development only. As of April 2006 we now have an electronic subscription as well. Our subscription is valid from April 1st, 2006 to March 31st, 2007. Access information is listed below. About the Newsletter The Teaching Professor is a forum for discussion of the best strategies supported by the latest research for effective teaching in the college/university classroom. Benefits anywhere, anytime access to a valuable teaching and learning resource access to all back issues of the newsletter access to a keyword search function access to information/updates about The Teaching Professor Annual ConferenceAccess Option 1: On Campus Users You may access the newsletter from any computer on-campus by visiting the Magna Publications website (www.magnapubs.co ). From the Magna Publications website, select newsletters from the menu of options (top left) - select The Teaching Professor newsletter - click on the newsletter title (individual article or entire issue) - click on Subscribers: Click Here for the Full Story. If you select the entire newsletter to view it, will give you the option of viewing in PDF file format. Option 2: Off Campus Users Connect to Laurier via the Library's "Connecting from off-campus" page (http://remote.libproxy.wlu.ca/login?url=http://library.wlu.c ). Once your connection has been established with the University, follow the directions above. The newsletter site will now recognize your Laurier IP address. Option 3: Off Campus Users You may choose to create an account with Magna Publications to connect from off campus and to receive an email letting you know when the latest issue of the newsletter is available for viewing.
