Memorial University president visits Labrador

Dr. Axel Meisen, president and vice-chancellor of Memorial University, will be in Happy Valley-Goose Bay on Friday, Sept. 29, 2006, to meet with community leaders and university stakeholders. His latest trip to Labrador builds on several key visits he has made in the past number of years around the province, including Labrador City, Stephenville and Corner Brook.
Happy Valley-Goose Bay is the site of the Labrador Institute of Memorial University which was built to stimulate, co-ordinate and support major university projects and programs to promote the well-being of the people of Labrador.
