Memorial University to dedicate lecture theatre

On Monday, Oct. 2, 2006, officials from Memorial University of Newfoundland and Fortis Inc. will dedicate and reopen the Engineering Lecture Theatre as the Angus Bruneau Engineering Lecture Theatre. The newly renovated theatre is being named in honour of Dr. Angus Bruneau, who served as the first dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science from 1969 until 1974 during which time he led the development the co-operative engineering programs.
The ceremony takes place at Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science, room EN-2006 at 12 noon. Parking is available in Lot 16. Media representatives are invited to attend.
