The magazine was nominated in four writing categories for the awards announced recently in Toronto. The other nominees were: Arts & Entertainment: Guilty Pleasures: Fairy Tales at the National Ballet of Canada, by James Neufeld; One-of-a-kind articles: Undisclosed Location, by S.K. Johannesen and columns When I Was Very Young; Surprised by Love: Chekhov and "The Lady With the Dog"; Slumberous Mumblement in Academe: Tortured Sentences, Strangled Thoughts, by Robert Fulford.
