Prerequisites for Graduate Studies in Mathematical Finance
Admission to a Master's program in financial mathematics requires a completed undergraduate degree in a related subject such as mathematics, statistics, or financial mathematics, with at least a B+ average. Practical experience in the form of industry experience or directed studies is considered an asset. To get into a PhD program, students must have completed a Master's-level degree in financial mathematics. For all graduate programs, the supervisor must be chosen prior to final admission.
