What services does your organization provide?
Within Canada we focus on emergency response, first aid and water safety training, community health, family reunification, and other services in communities across the country.


Do you have any age requirements?
18


What time commitment(s) are you expecting from a volunteer?
A two year commitment
12 shifts per month (shifts are 6 hour on call)
one dispatch shift every two months
Deployment last 3 weeks if out of province (if interested)


Are there any other requirements for being a volunteer?
Good interpersonal skills
works well in a team
clear police record check


Are there any specific skills and experience required?
Drivers licence


What type of volunteer positions are typically available?
We are currently looking for Disaster Management volunteers. As a Disaster Management volunteer you will respond to disasters by providing emergency social services ( including emergency feeding, clothing, lodging, personal services and family reunification). Demonstrate a commitment to the Red Cross and its fundamental principles.
