What services does your organization provide?
We have six Support Groups in BC. We assist the members with finding help that is available from the various levels of government. Also we provide councilling in several areas, Emotional & nutritional. Disability Form applications.


Do you have any age requirements?
Graduating high school students.


Do you require language proficiency other than in English?
Yes.


What time commitment(s) are you expecting from a volunteer?
As many hours as they are able by their health or prior commitments allow.


Are there any other requirements for being a volunteer?
No.


Are there any specific skills and experience required?
We are always looking for skills the foundation can use, but we will train anyone that volunteers for whatever we need help with.


What type of volunteer positions are typically available?
We are always looking for office support or support in our public education programs also Fundraising experience and accounting and an event coordinating.


Is there any training provided for volunteers?
We will train volunteers to help increase their present skills and to aquire new ones.


What are the typical volunteer activities occurring at your organization?
Working as a member of the office staff or helping out at a table at a public event.


How will a person benefit from volunteering with Fibromyalgia WellSpring Foundation?
They will learn skills they may not have or enhance one they do. Also they will learn how to interact with the general public.

Yes.
