Greater Victoria Green Team

Greater Victoria Green Team

The Greater Victoria Green Team is part of the Green Teams of Canada charity (www.greenteamscanada.com), and works to connect people to a range of conservation and environmental projects throughout the Capital Regional District (Victoria, BC). We collaborate with different municipalities and stewardship groups, and link up to existing projects like invasive plant removals, but also create new projects and go into parks that haven't had much restoration work done in them. Some of our eco-activities include removing invasive, non-native plants, planting native trees and shrubs, and cleaning up shorelines! No experience is necessary. Training and tools will be provided. Join the group and help make Victoria greener and cleaner!
