What services does your organization provide?
Food donations to self-identifying individuals in the Kanata wards. We also have a School Supply program, and Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter Hamper programs.

Do you have any age requirements?
16 is preferred

Do you require language proficiency other than in English?
No

What time commitment(s) are you expecting from a volunteer?
Whatever amount of time a volunteer is willing to give. It also depends on the volunteer opportunity in which they are interested. For example, our weekly food-sorting session lasts from either 1 hour to 3 hours, depending on the time of year and amount of food to be sorted; a special event, such as the Bushtukah Canada Day Race, may require 5 hours of time.

Are there any other requirements for being a volunteer?
Must be able to work well with others, and follow instructions. Depending on the task, the ability to do heavy lifting is also required.

Are there any specific skills and experience required?
No, not specifically.

What type of volunteer positions are typically available?
