Volunteer Information for Little Lake Musicfest

What services does your organization provide?

  • Fundraising - Responsible for selling glow products, asking for voluntary donations and selling chair rentals at a stationed kiosk
  • Usher - Responsible for seating guests in the VIP reserved seating area
  • Park Patrol - Responsible for patrolling the park to ensure guests are enjoying the concert in a responsible manner, ensuring back stage area is not occupied by anyone except the staff
  • Parking - Responsible for monitoring the vehicles entering the parking lot, checking parking tags and giving directions on where to park


Do you have any age requirements?
Volunteers must be 14 years of age.


What time commitment(s) are you expecting from a volunteer?
Volunteers are expected to commit to volunteering at a minimum of five (5) shows each season.


Are there any other requirements for being a volunteer?
All volunteers must have a short interview, fill out an application form and get an up-to date police record check.


Are there any specific skills and experience required?
Comfortable working with others. Comfortable working with the general public. Comfortable with handling money and making change is an asset, but not a requirement.


What type of volunteer positions are typically available?
Volunteer positions are available in all four roles - Park Patrol, Fundraising, Usher and Parking


Is there any training provided for volunteers?
All volunteers must attend an afternoon volunteer orientation and BBQ one week before the first show of the season.


How will a person benefit from volunteering with Little Lake Musicfest?
Earn experience working as part of a team, handling money and customer service. Earn community service hours for high school. Meet new people and enjoy great live music.
