Cornwallis Military Museum 726 Broadway, Cornwallis, Nova Scotia Commissioned in 1942, Cornwallis was built to augment the RCN efforts during WWII. During the war years, HMCS Cornwallis was the largest naval training base in the British Commonwealth.
