Do you have any age requirements?
All ages are welcome, depending on the nature of the volunteer activity.


What time commitment(s) are you expecting from a volunteer?
Our events are one-time events usually held on Saturdays between 9am and 4pm.


Are there any other requirements for being a volunteer?
Please RSVP online so that we may be prepared.


Are there any specific skills and experience required?
We require participants to be able to meet the physical demands of any given volunteer activity. No experience necessary.


Do you provide training for volunteers?
Ample instruction is given for the use of any tools we lend to volunteers such as shovels, hammers.


What are the typical volunteer activities occurring at your organization?
We require volunteers for trail maintenance, invasive species removals, planting trees, bird surveys, and cleaning beach areas, etc.


How will a person benefit from volunteering with Nature Conservancy of Canada Atlantic?
Our volunteer events usually offer either an educational component relevant to the activity, a workshop, hikes on our beautiful properties, and the opportunity to meet other conservation minded individuals.


Do you accept high school students?
High school students are welcome, but may need a parents consent if they are under the age of 18.
