What services does your organization provide?
Meals on Wheels, Telefriend, Companion Service, Transportation Service, Sitter Service.


Do you have any age requirements?
16 years of age and up.


Do you require language proficiency other than in English?
No.


What time commitment(s) are you expecting from a volunteer?

  • Meals on Wheels: Once a month and up
  • Telefriend: Once a month and up
  • Sitter Service: One day per week for an extended period of time.
  • Companionship Service: One day per week for an extended period of time.
  • Transportation: Once a month and up.

Are there any other requirements for being a volunteer?
Meals on Wheels/Transportation/Companionship Services: Require a valid Drivers License.
All five programs require a Valid Criminal Record Check and 2 Reference Checks Completed.


Are there any specific skills and experience required?
Must enjoy working with Seniors and people with disabilities. Have good interpersonal skills, be caring, understanding, discreet and non-judgmental.

Do you provide training for volunteers?
Yes. Shadow other volunteers for Meals on Wheels. Meeting with Volunteer Coordinator to go over material suitable for position applying for.
