Lake Cowichan Animal Rescue Society Lake Cowichan, British Columbia Lake Cowichan Animal Rescue Society is a volunteer-run, non-profit, animal rescue organization located in Lake Cowichan BC. The society was formed in October of 2006. We successfully applied to become a charity in our own right the following year. We ensure that all animals are spayed or neutered, tattooed and have their basic inoculations prior to adoption.
