Adults 16 years and older, who are fluent in English, come to the Adult Literacy Program to work on basic reading, writing, and number skills. They meet with a volunteer tutor at one of nine literacy offices for two hours once a week.

  • Weekly activity reports are completed to track progress and note plans for future sessions.
  • Activities during the session are linked with the adult learner's goals and include reading, writing, numeracy, computer, speaking, and listening.
