Kemi-Tornio University of Applied Sciences provides theoretical as well as practical training to students for a successful career. The university makes use of different teaching methods such as lectures, seminars, teamwork, practical work, independent study, and workshops. Besides this, it utilizes e-learning methods.

Degree Programs
Kemi-Tornio University of Applied Sciences offers 16 bachelor degree programs. Out of them, 4 programs are international. They are taught in either Swedish or English, or in combination of both. The bachelor degree programs are of three and half to four year duration. They include fundamental, professional, and elective courses, practical training, and thesis writing.

The degree programs are in areas of Information & Communication Technology, Business & Administration, Technology and Engineering, Culture, and Health Care & Social Services. Apart from this, the University offers master’s degree in Business Administration, Social Services, and Health Care.

Specialization And Short Courses
Kemi-Tornio University of Applied Sciences conducts specialization studies in courses of one to two terms. They are specially designed to enhance professional skills of students. However, in order to enroll for such courses, students are required to complete bachelor’s degree program, or vocational education, or some other qualification course.

In addition to this, the University allows students to take a few non-degree courses that last for a day to a few weeks.
