The Rovaniemi University of Applied Sciences is based in Rovaniemi in Finland and has the unique position of being the northernmost educational institute in the European Union. Situated on the Arctic Circle, the university gives students a unique learning environment to gain vocational skills. The university is also open to students from the international community and welcomes exchange students. The university currently has three campuses.

There are currently 19 degree programs available at the Rovaniemi University of Applied Sciences, three of which are offered in English. These are degrees in International Business, Tourism and Information Technology. These courses last 3 to 5 years, depending on the subject. The university also offers a one-year specialization program in International Project Management. This course has attracted students from all over the world and financial assistance in available for Finnish students. Accommodation arrangements can be made for students from other countries and the course follows the credit system.

The Rovaniemi University of Applied Sciences prides itself in offering courses which are on par with international standards and needs as well as courses which are unique to the Lapland area. The university also offers a specialized career planning and recruitment program- as students are involved with thesis work and practical training with their courses they become better suited for employment on graduation.
