Gimlekollen School of Journalism and Communication is a private educational institute offering higher education. It is located in Kristiansand, Southern Norway. The college basically offers courses in three streams - Journalism (Print/Web or Broadcasting), Communication and World Views, Cross-Cultural Communication. The department of Journalism Studies is the biggest department, having roughly around 120 students. The Norwegian higher education authority accredits the department. Gimlekollen School of Journalism and Communication offers a three-year Bachelor's degree in Journalism. This particular degree consists of two years of specialized Journalism Studies, along with a year of thorough study in related or other areas.

The Cross-Cultural Communication Programme of Gimlekollen School of Journalism and Communication is a yearlong programme. The Communication and World Views Programme is a part-time course, comprising of 30 credits. The college is also planning to launch a Master's Degree in Global Journalism and a Master's Degree in Communication and World Views.

Gimlekollen School of Journalism and Communication has a talented pool of 24 lecturers, researchers, and administrators. The college also has Consultancy and Extension Department, which offers consultancy in fields of Journalism, NGO Work, Communication and Church Work. The college is technologically advanced. It is also a part of the Gimlekollen Media Centre, which has the production company Lynor, along with the radio ministry Norea Mediemisjon. The library is well stocked and helps students gain knowledge from all quarters.
