Institution ProfileNarvik University College is among the 26 State University Colleges in Norway that offer higher education with the help of various study programmes. The college has around 1200 students in its undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate courses. The college offers programmes in health & nursing, engineering and business management. Narvik University College is basically divided into four critical departments - Department of Health and Nursing Science, Department of Building, Production and Engineering Design, Department of Applied Sciences and Department of Scientific Computing, Electrical Engineering and Space Technology.
Narvik University College is known for its exchange programmes. More than 50 students come to Narvik through the international student exchange programmes. They pursue either the 3-4 years full time programs or small part time ones. The college ensures that the students go back with a lot of educational value added to their existing knowledge. Also ensured is that the students do not face any kind of difficulties during their stay.
Narvik University College does not offer any study programs in the English language. However, foreign students are given opportunities to learn the Norwegian language. Once they become well versed in it, they can take the classes in Norwegian. The college charges a registration fee every semester, no other fees are charged. At present, there are no scholarships on offer for the students. The college has knowledgeable and dedicated teaching faculties.
