VHA Training and Education Centre is a marvelous provider of programs for Personal Attendants, Personal Support Workers and others working in the field of social service and community care. The college was set up in 1998. It builds on the knowledge and expertise developed through almost over fifty years of offering professional domestic healthcare at VHA Health and Home Support. It ensures that it provides world-class training to the students. VHA Training and Education Centre is Canadian managed and owned. It is enlisted and certified as a private career college under the Private Career Colleges Act of Ontario. The Attendant Care and Outreach Program is a high-level personal care help program intended to adults of eighteen years and over having physical difficulties. All the nursing staff of the college is enlisted with the College of Nurses of Ontario, and are guided by the Standards of Practice for nurses in Ontario. The Extreme Cleaning Service of the college is aimed at preventing homelessness that is caused by expulsion. VHA Training and Education Centre concentrates on quality service and community awareness above anything else.
