A Correctional Officer is primarily responsible for overlooking and undertaking the case management aspects of correctional centres, and related duties as required, including supervising and managing paroled, remanded, and/or sentenced adults and/or youth, both male and female, particularly within correctional, penal or rehabilitation institutions.

A Correctional Officer is responsible 'for performing case management functions within' correctional centres, supervising sentenced and remanded adult male and female offenders in said centres, and other related duties as required.
