Responsibilities

The Addin Infrastructure team is responsible for the integration of simulation products within ANSYS Workbench, and the interaction of these applications within a scriptable, automatable, parameterized framework. We are looking for an experienced Software Developer to join our team to do the following: -Implement and extend the integration of existing and next-generation ANSYS applications within the Workbench Framework -Implement and extend the integration of ANSYS physics solvers with high-performance computing clusters -Guide the architecture of future development -Refactor our existing codebase for improved reusability and consistency, and improve its test coverage -Take an active role in the team's planning process and development practices, helping us improve both


Experience and Qualifications

-BS/MS Computer Science or Engineering plus 5 years software development experience -Demonstrable, solid understanding of C#/.NET development -Familiarity with C++ You will need experience with at least some of the following: - Agile, Scrum, Lean, TDD - Testing methodologies - Python, Perl, Qt, COM - Linux development and Mono - Cluster software such as Windows HPC, LSF, PBS or SGE - Project coordination and leadership As a large company with a broad product portfolio, we also need you to be an excellent communicator and a fast learner. Experience in distributed development environments would be an asset
