Overview SaskPower is looking for two Engineers, Technical Development & Support. These positions will provide technical support and assist with development of long-term master plans for SaskPower's electric system. These positions are also responsible to ensure that SaskPower's electric system can be operated in a safe, reliable and economic manner, in order to meet customer and business requirements while facilitating future growth and integrating corporate initiatives.

Experience and Qualifications Our ideal candidates: will have a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering; must be eligible for professional membership in the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS); and, a minimum 7 years experience associated with power system modeling, simulation, and operation with relevant knowledge of power system analysis tools such as PSS®E and PSCAD® would be desirable. Candidates must have strong communication and interpersonal skills. Candidates with a post graduate Master's Degree or Ph.D. in a relevant field would be an asset. A suitable combination of education and experience may also be considered. The closing date for this competition is December 15, 2014.
