Description of Me to We Me to We is a ground-breaking business with a social mission. We sell ethical and environmentally friendly clothes, crafts, jewellery and books, as well as offer life-changing experiences, like speakers, workshops and trips.
There are many roles you can play building our social enterprise, whether behind the scenes using your business and sales savvy, editing books and designing t-shirts (not necessarily at the same time!) or on the frontlines running workshops, facilitating trips or sharing inspirational stories. We look for one singular quality above all else: a passion for social change, and the desire to make a difference through your work.
Because Me to We donates half of its profit to our charitable partner, Free The Children, (and reinvests the other half to grow the enterprise) we strive to keep our administrative costs down. That said, all salaries of Me to We employees in North America are in line with either Imagine Canada’s study of compensation in the charitable sector, or Charity Navigator in the United States. We also supplement earnings with many opportunities, including mentorships, skills-improvement workshops, exceptional leadership opportunities, and health benefits. Former Prime Ministers, Nobel laureates, activist rock stars, Supreme Court justices and many other visionaries make themselves available to help our staff develop their considerable skill base.
