To support the demands of a busy working professional, Royal Roads University’s MBA programs offer an innovative learning model that allows you to maintain your life and get ahead in your career. All of our MBA programs are 18 months in length and combine online learning with two three-week experience labs which are held on campus in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. Royal Roads’ MBA programs are designed for students who have extensive workplace experience and management background. A key strength of the MBA program is our cohort model whereby students enter and move through the program together. This networking and collaboration is considered an invaluable part of the learning experience and provides support and interaction throughout the distance portions. The Organizational Management Project (OMP) forms a major part of the MBA Program, and generates a rich learning experience through the application of theory to a real-world situation. Often referred to as "action research," it enhances the skills of the student and provides a valuable contribution to the sponsoring organization. Students will examine the issue(s), analyze options, and provide recommendations to the management team of the sponsoring organization in a final report and presentation. The scope of the project consists of approximately 188 hours of work. To be considered for Flexible Admission, applicants would normally require a minimum 10-15 years related full-time work experience, with five years at a management level and increasing levels of responsibility. Letters of Reference Two Letters of Reference are required Work Experience Applicants must have at least 7-10 years of relevant work experience with a minimum of 3 years of management experience. Resume Resume Minimum GMAT Score No GMAT score is required. TOEFL International students require a TOEFL score of 570 on a paper-based test, 233 on a computer-based exam, or 88 on an internet-based exam with a minimum score of 20 in each section.
