Hashim won the opportunity to sit behind the big desk after writing a 500-word essay presenting his vision for the future of the law faculty. He also won a $200 gift certificate to the University of Windsor bookstore. The student’s day will consist of meetings with the school’s top administrators to present his suggestions for enhancements to program delivery and student services. Elman, meanwhile, will head back to class to see things from a student perspective. "Besides being a bit of fun it gives students another opportunity to be heard," said Francine Herlehy, Assistant Dean, Student Services. "We are always open to suggestions on how to make on-going improvements to our law school and it gives Dean Elman a chance to see what students experience in the classroom." Following a morning of classes and meetings Elman and Hashim will meet for lunch at the University Club to discuss their experiences.- 30- CONTACT: Lori KoutrosManager, News ServicesUniversity of Windsor(519) 973-7001 / Cell: (519) 564-9908
