One of the world’s foremost experts on sustainability to lecture at U of C

Professor Karl-Henrik Robert, M.D., Ph.D., an award winning cancer researcher and world renowned speaker, is scheduled to make a presentation to faculty, staff, and students at the University of Calgary.

Dr. Robert is the creator of "The Natural Step" (TNS), a globally significant and controversial approach to sustainability. TNS is an international non-profit organization with offices in twelve countries, including Canada, that uses a science-based systems framework to help organizations, individuals, and communities take steps towards sustainability.

The presentation, which is in collaboration with The Faculty of Environmental Design, The Calgary Institute of Humanities, and imagineCALGARY, will challenge the audience to think about sustainability in new and innovative ways.
