St. John’s Public Lectures in Philosophy — 8th series

The St. John’s Public Lectures in Philosophy series continues on Tuesday, Oct. 25, with a lecture by Dr. Mike O’Brien, Department of History, Memorial University of Newfoundland, who will speak on Imperialism and Modern Mythology. The lecture gets underway at 8:30 p.m.at the Ship Pub, Duckworth Street, St. John’s. All are invited to attend.

The St. John’s Public Lectures in Philosophy is an informal lecture discussion series, with an emphasis on the intrinsic value of a critical examination of assumptions and presuppositions. They are held the last Tuesday of each month from September to November and January to March.
