Best-Selling Novelist to speak at Carleton-- Elizabeth Hay to speak as part of Creative Women speakers series --

Elizabeth Hay, best-selling novelist, will give a talk and reading about her work as part of the "Creative Women" Speaking Series hosted by the Pauline Jewett Institute of Women’s Studies at Carleton University on Thursday, October 13, at 2:30 p.m.

Elizabeth Hay, an Ottawa-based writer, received numerous award nominations for her first two novels, best-sellers both, A Student of Weather and the recent Garbo Laughs (2003). The talk is scheduled in room 236 of the Tory building and is free and open to the public.
