Roch Carrier to speak at the 2005 uOttawa Charles R. Bronfman Lecture in Canadian Studies

This year the University of Ottawa will welcome Roch Carrier as he delivers a speech entitled: "Je vous parlerai de culture. S'il vous plaît, ne vous sauvez pas tous…" Carrier will talk about the role of culture in Canadian society.

Since 1994, the Institute of Canadian Studies has offered a yearly prestigious lecture in Canadian studies designed to feature personalities who have made significant contributions to the study of Canada. The event is made possible by a donation from Charles R. Bronfman.

Given the bilingual character of the University of Ottawa and its location in the heart of the nation’s capital, the Charles R. Bronfman Lecture is presented alternatively in one or the other of Canada’s official languages. Please note that this conference will be offered in French only.
