Acadia Distinguished Business Speaker Series welcomes Don Reed and George Crookshank

(Wolfville, NS) - Don Reed, President of Franklin Templeton Investments and George Crookshank, CFO of Opti-Canada will be next week’s speakers at the 2005 Acadia Distinguished Business Speaker Series hosted by Acadia University’s Fred C. Manning School of Business.

Mr. Reed’s discussion on world stock markets will be held on October 13th at 5 p.m. in the K.C. Irving Centre Auditorium.

Mr. Crookshank’s lecture entitled An Introduction to the Oil Sands is scheduled for October 14th from 10 a.m. to noon in the K.C. Irving Centre Auditorium. The Series, sponsored by the McConnell Foundation, is free of charge and open to the general public.
