September 27, 2005 Source: Mount Allison University: http://www.mta.ca/news/index.cgi?id=819 Nova Scotia Youth Choir crosses the border to Mount A, Oct. 1 SACKVILLE, NB — To celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Nova Scotia Youth Choir, the first concert of their 2005 tour will be held at the Mount Allison University Chapel in Sackville on Saturday, October 1 at 8 p.m. Guest conductor for the 2005 Nova Scotia Youth Choir is master conductor, Jeff Joudrey, of Truro, NS, assisted by resident conductors Pamela Burton and Christina Murray (an alumna of Mount Allison). Accompanists for the choir are Cynthia Davies and Tara Morton (also a Mount Allison Music alumna). To celebrate the choir's 15th anniversary, the Nova Scotia Choral Federation has commissioned a new choral piece titled, Thou Art God, by well-known Canadian composer Eleanor Daley, which will be premièred at the concert.
